Dr. Howard is a board-certified Podiatric Surgeon, a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Practicing in Sarasota, FL since 1999, he brings extensive expertise in foot and ankle trauma, complex fractures, reconstructive procedures, sports injuries, and diabetic foot care. After graduating from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, he was awarded the prestigious Deaconess externship at Harvard Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at Decatur Hospital and the VAMC at Emory University. Dr. Howard is fellowship-trained and served as an adjunct instructor for the Vogler Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Reconstruction and Trauma. He advanced from Fellow to Senior Partner at a large local orthopedic group before establishing his current practice.
